Update 08/21/2023: On August 18, 2023, WBI Energy Transmission filed a motion to place interim settlement rates into effect as of August 1, 2023. WBI Energy Transmissions Interactive Website has been updated to reflect the pending rates. For more information, please refer to the FERC filing.
08/01/2023: On January 27, 2023, WBI Energy Transmission filed revised tariff records reflecting a general rate increase under section 4 of the Natural Gas Act (NGA) as well as certain other tariff changes including the establishment of a Greenhouse Gas Cost Recovery Mechanism. On February 27, 2023, the Commission issued an order accepting and suspending the proposed tariff records to be effective August 1, 2023, subject to refund and the outcome of hearing procedures.
WBI Energy filed motion rates to take effect today, August 1, 2023. The purpose of the motion filing is to place into effect the rates suspended in the February 27th Order, as adjusted, to reflect plant in service, associated accumulated depreciation, depletion, and amortization, and accumulated deferred income taxes as of June 30, 2023, the end of the test period.
